Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

PA1-4262 detects the human RGS8 protein in human samples. PA1-4262 has been successfully used in Western blot procedures. PA1-4262 immunizing peptide corresponds to amino acid residues 1-16 of the human RGS8 protein.

A novel human RGS8 gene (homologue of the rat RGS8 gene) is expressed in prostate tissues and represents a positional candidate for the HPC1 locus, which is involved in hereditary prostate cancer and hyperparathyroidism-jaw tumor syndrome.
