Description

Mouse Monoclonal Antibody

CD146 Monoclonal Antibody Specifically detects CD146 in Human Samples. It is validated for Flow Cytometry.

The P1H12 monoclonal antibody specifically binds to CD146 (MCAM, MUC18, Mel-CAM), a 118 kDa transmembrane glycoprotein of the immunoglobulin superfamily. It is expressed by blood vessel endothelium, smooth muscle, angioblasts, mesenchymal stem cells, melanoma cells, intermediate trophoblasts, and activated T cells. The antibody can block endothelial cell adhesion and is useful for immunohistochemical staining of acetone-fixed frozen tissue sections, immunoprecipitation, and ELISA.
