Mechanistically, usurps the E3 ligase ITCH to trigger the degradation of MAVS, TRAF3, and TRAF6. In addition, causes mitochondrial elongation by triggering ubiquitination and proteasomal degradation of dynamin-like protein 1/DNM1L.
