Q-Apps for Cubis™ MSA Laboratory Balances are individual, downloadable applications that can be adapted to your specific operating procedures.

The function of Cubis MSA laboratory balances is extended with Cubis individual, which gives the ability to download and easily integrate specific applications, called Q-Apps, directly into the balance via an SD Card. Q-Apps guide users step-by-step through specific weighing workflows, which ensure thorough compliance with written standard operating procedures (SOPs). The documentation process can also be automated via direct connectivity to a leading system to reduce the time spent documenting results. As a result, Q-Apps tremendously increase efficiency and reliability in the weighing process, thus saving valuable time and money for laboratories.

• Workflows can be performed independently via the balance and do not require the need for a direct computer connection or external software (middleware)

• Easy Licensing: quick steps to receive the activation code for permanent use of a Q-App

Standard Q-Apps include:

• UserCal V1: User definable calibration routine with external weights
• USP V2: Determination of the operating range according to USP Chapter 41
• Backweigher Light V1: Differential weighing application with automatic sample numbering (100 samples max.)
• Backweigher Light V2: Differential weighing with lots/batches and automatic sample/lot numbering (5 x 100 samples max.)
• Backweigher Light V3: Differential weighing application with individual Sample ID (alphanumeric)
• Pipette Check Light V1: Check/Calibration of piston pipettes with fixed or variable volume according to ISO 8655 tolerances
• Tablet Checker V1: Tablet checker application according to Pharmacopeia standards
• Residual Dirt Analysis: Gravimetric determination of residual dirt according to VDA19, with individual Sample ID (alphanumeric)
