PA5-19436 targets CLLD8/SETDB2 in IHC (P) and WB applications and shows reactivity with Human samples. The PA5-19436 immunogen is synthetic peptide conjugated to KLH derived from within residues 550 - 650 of Human CLLD8/SETDB2.

Proteins that contain a SET domain, such as SETDB2, modulate gene expression epigenetically through histone H3 methylation. SETDB2 is likely a histone H3 methyltransferase, as it contains both the active site and flanking cysteine residues required for catalytic activity (Zhang et al., 2003 ).
