Store vial at -20°C prior to opening. Aliquot contents and freeze at -20°C or below for extended storage. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing. Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature. This product is stable for several weeks at 4°C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. This affinity purified antibody is directed against human SmarcAL1 protein. A BLAST analysis was used to suggest reactivity with this protein from human based on 100% homology for the immunogen sequence. Cross reactivity with SmarcAL1 from other sources is not expected due to significant sequence divergence within the immunogen sequence.

PRKCQ is a calcium-independent, novel isoform that is important in transducing signals in T lymphocytes. Interaction of a T lymphocyte with an antigen-presenting cell results in clustering of the T cell antigen receptor (TCR) and the recruitment of a large signaling complex to the site of cell-cell contact. PRKCQ is essential for TCR-mediated activation. PKC theta plays a role in pathways that link the TCR signaling complex to the activation of NF-kappa B in mature T lymphocytes.
