Description

PA1-10882 detects SOX6 in human and mouse samples. This antibody is predicted to recognize rat and chimapanzee SOX6 based on 100% sequence homology. PA1-10882 has been successfully used in Western blot procedures. PA1-10882 immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to residues 780-796 of human and mouse SOX6.

Transcriptional activator. Binds specifically to the DNA sequence 5'-AACAAT-3'. Plays a key role in several developmental processes, including neurogenesis and skeleton formation.
