Description

Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

The PA1-73173 antibody reacts with soluble and structural antigens of the bacterium Staphylococcus aureus. This antibody is not absorbed and may cross-react with related microorganisims. PA1-73173 has been successfully used in ELISA, Immunoblotting, and Immunohistochemistry applications. The PA1-73173 antibody was raised against soluble and structural antigens of the whole bacterium; ATCC #27660. Note: sodium azide is a potent inhibitor of peroxidase.

Staphylococcus aureus is a type of bacteria that commonly lives on the skin and in the nasal passages of healthy individuals. However, it can also cause a range of infections, from minor skin infections to more serious conditions such as pneumonia, sepsis, and endocarditis.
