STK17A Rabbit anti-Human, Mouse, Polyclonal, Proteintech

Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Supplier: Proteintech Group Inc 144331AP150UL

Description
Importin-7 (IOP7) belongs to the Importin beta family and contains an importin N-terminal domain. It functions in nuclear protein import in association with importin-beta subunit KPNB1. It mediates autonomously the nuclear import of ribosomal proteins RPL23A, RPS7 and RPL5 and thenuclear import of H2A, H2B, H3 and H4 histones in vitro.Studies suggest itacts as a nuclear import receptor for the Glucocorticoid receptors. It also acts as a receptor for nuclear localization signals (NLS) and to promote translocation of import substrates through the nuclear pore complex (NPC) by an energy requiring, Ran-dependent mechanism.Reports indicatethat in HIV-1 infection,IOP7 binds and mediates the nuclear import of HIV-1 Rev.Specifications
