Invitrogen™ Sulfotyrosine Monoclonal Antibody (7C5), FITC
Mouse Monoclonal Antibody
Supplier: Invitrogen™ MA545834
Description
A 1:1,000 dilution of MA5-45834 was sufficient for detection of Sulfotyrosine in 0.5 μg of Sulfotyrosine conjugated to BSA by ECL immunoblot analysis using Goat Anti-Mouse IgG:HRP as the secondary Antibody. Specific for sulfated tyrosine residues on various proteins. Does not detect free Sulfotyrosine. Does not cross-react with phosphotyrosine.
Sulfotyrosine is involved in protein-protein interactions. Sulfotyrosines are present in all multicellular eukaryotes, but unicellular eukaryotes such as yeast and prokaryotes are not capable of tyrosine sulfation.
