Rabbit Recombinant Monoclonal Antibody

Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The expression systems are developed by cloning in the specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Then, individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production. The advantages of using recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies include: better specificity and sensitivity, lot-to-lot consistency, animal origin-free formulations, and broader immunoreactivity to diverse targets due to larger rabbit immune repertoire.

TCF3 (E2A) is a transcription factor that plays major roles in determining tissue-specific cell fate during embryogenesis, like muscle or early B-cell differentiation. Heterodimers between E2A and tissue-specific basic helix-loop-helix (bHLH) Dimers bind DNA on E-box motifs: 5'- CANNTG-3'. Binds to the kappa-E2 site in the kappa immunoglobulin gene enhancer. Deletions in E2A have been observed in a subset of pre-B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL) cases. Two alternatively spliced human isoforms have been described.
