Description

One-handed activation

  • For use with evacuated blood collection tubes only; not compatible with I.V. therapy applications
  • Designed for an evacuated blood collection system, which provides closed, conventional, and safe blood collection for fast and easy sampling and analysis
  • Non-latex plastic and tubing ensure allergy-free usage
  • One-handed operation makes siliconized needle insertion quick and easy with the flexible wings allowing for a secure grip
  • Soft, flexible interlocking wings readily conform to the body's contour
  • The wing is angled for ease of positioning of the needle during venipuncture, for less risk of vessel damage or occlusion of the lumen
  • Wings are color coded according to needle gauge and embossed with gauge size
  • After use, press the plastic Surshield into place over the needle to prevent accidental needlestick injuries before discarding
