Invitrogen™ TRAF-1 Monoclonal Antibody (1F3), eFluor™ 570, eBioscience™

Description
Description: The monoclonal antibody 1F3 recognizes human TRAF-1. TRAF-1 is a multifunctional adapter molecule and member of the TNF receptor associated factor protein family. TRAF proteins associate with various receptors of the TNF receptor superfamily to mediate signal transduction. TRAF-1 plays a role in regulating cell survival and apoptosis, regulates the signaling of NF kappa B and JNK, and forms a heterodimeric complex with TRAF-2. TRAF-1 also interacts with cell surface receptors such as CD30, CD40, and CD357 (AITR), and cytoplasmic proteins like NIK, RIP2, A20, and TRIP. Expression of TRAF-1 can be induced by Epstein-Barr Virus (EBV) and TNF alpha. Applications Reported: This 1F3 antibody has been reported for use in microscopy, immunohistochemical staining, and immunocytochemistry. Applications Tested: This 1F3 antibody has been tested by immunohistochemistry of formalin-fixed paraffin embedded human tissue using low pH antigen retrieval and can be used at less than or equal to 5 μg/mL. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest. Filter Recommendation: When using this eFluor® 570 antibody conjugate, we recommend a filter that will capture the 570 emission wavelength (for example, Excitation 545/25, 565LP, Emission 605/70). A standard Alexa Fluor® 555 or TRITC filter is acceptable. Excitation: 555 nm; Emission: 570 nm.
