Description
1 μg/mL of MA5-45473 was sufficient for detection of TrpC7 in 10 μg of rat brain lysate by colorimetric immunoblot analysis using goat anti-mouse IgG:HRP as the secondary antibody. Detects approximately 100kDa.
TRPC7 is thought to form a receptor-activated non-selective calcium permeant cation channel. TRPC7 is probably is operated by a phosphatidylinositol second messenger system activated by receptor tyrosine kinases or G-protein coupled receptors. TRPC7 is also activated by diacylglycerol (DAG). Further, TRPC7 may also be activated by intracellular calcium store depletion.
