Description

The Applied Biosystems TrueMark STI Select Panel Combo Kit is a multiplex real‐time PCR solution that contains the assay and master mix needed for the simultaneous detection of RNA in extracted human samples.

The Applied Biosystems TrueMark STI Select Panel Combo Kit is a multiplex real‐time PCR solution that contains the assay and master mix needed for the simultaneous detection of nucleic acid from Chlamydia trachomatis (CT), Neisseria gonorrhoeae (NG), Mycoplasma genitalium (MG), and Trichomonas vaginalis (TV) in extracted human samples. Human ribonuclease P (RNase P) is included as endogenous sample collection control.

• Single test for CT, NG, MG, TV; detect and differentiate between clinically relevant targets found in sexually transmitted infections

The TrueMark STI Select Panel Combo Kit includes the TrueMark STI Select Panel and TrueMark Infectious Disease 1‐Step Multiplex Master Mix for simplified ordering. Together with the TrueMark STI Amplification Control, the kit can be used to quickly evaluate up to 200 samples and is validated for use with RNA extracted from vaginal swabs. The kit is recommended for use with the MagMAX Viral/Pathogen II Nucleic Acid Isolation Kit, the KingFisher Flex Purification System, and the QuantStudio 5 Real-Time PCR System (with 96-well, 0.2-mL block).

The TrueMark STI Select Panel Combo Kit includes the following components:
• TrueMark STI Select Panel—multiplexed assay that contains primer and probe sets specific to CT, NG, MG, TV, and RNase P targets
• TrueMark Infectious Disease 1‐Step Multiplex Master Mix (No ROX)

Use this kit with:
• TrueMark STI Amplification Control (Cat. No. A57009)—plasmid control containing templates specific to CT, NG, MG, TV, and RNase P
