Description
- NPR, non-porous resin, columns are prepared from non-porous methacrylate particles of uniform 2.5 micron size
- Provide high efficiency separations and fast analysis of peptides and proteins
- The non-porous particle structure limits product isolation to sub-microgram loads
- Polymer-based particles for reversed-phase (RP) HPLC are more tolerant of high and low pH operating conditions and eliminate silanol interactions
- Some silicas have an intrinsic metal content that may cause chelation problems with sensitive biomolecules, leading to poor recovery
- Polymeric TSKgel columns come in C18 and phenyl functional groups and a range of particle porosities
