TSKgel Phenyl-5PW RP offers similiar selectivity to its hydrophobic interation counterpart TSKgel Phenyl-5PW, although a higher degree of cross-linking allows for increased stability in aqueous/organic mobile phase gradients. Provides an advantage over silica when high pH buffer systems are needed.

• TSKgel Phenyl-5PW RP can withstand rigorous cleaning protocols using either acid or base
• The 1000 Å pore size accommodates globular protein samples up to 1,000,000 Da.
• Polymer-based particles for reversed-phase (RP) HPLC are more tolerant of high and low pH operating conditions
• They do not have silanol interactions that may cause peak tailing in some basic analytes
• Some silicas have an intrinsic metal content that may cause chelation problems with sensitive biomolecules, leading to poor recovery
