Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Positive Control: Human placenta tissue lysates, human lung tissue, human thyroid tissue, human colon carcinoma tissue, human skin tissue, human breast carcinoma tissue, human esophagus tissue, human placenta tissue, SH-SY5Y, MG-63. Subcellular Location: Spindle, nucleus, cytoplasm, kinetochore, membrane.

TTK is a serine/threonine kinase closely related to SPK1, PIM 1 and CDC2 serine/threonine kinases. TTK is a dual-specificity kinase, which can also phosphorylate tyrosine. It consists of a common heteromeric core enzyme, which is composed of a catalytic subunit and a constant regulatory subunit, that associates with a variety of regulatory subunits. The constant regulatory subunit A serves as a scaffolding molecule to coordinate the assembly of the catalytic subunit and a variable regulatory B subunit. TTK encodes an alpha isoform of the constant regulatory subunit A. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been described.
