Invitrogen™ UBE1L Recombinant Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody (JE50-55)
Rabbit Recombinant Monoclonal Antibody
Supplier: Invitrogen™ MA550749
Description
Positive control: THP-1 cell lysates, rat kidney tissue, human testis tissue, mouse cerebellum tissue. Predicted band size: 112 kDa Subcellular Location: Cytoplasm, cytosol, nucleoplasm, nucleus.
UBE1L (ubiquitin-like modifier-activating enzyme 7) activates ubiquitin by first adenylating with ATP at its C-terminal glycine residue and then linking that residue to the side chain of a cysteine residue in E1. This activation results in an ubiquitin-E1 thioester and free AMP. UBE1L also catalyzes the ISGylation of influenza A virus NS1 protein.
