UBE2T Polyclonal Antibody, Bethyl Laboratories
Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Supplier: Bethyl Laboratories, Inc A301874AT
Description
The recommended shelf life for this product is 1 year from date of receipt.
UBE2T is involved in the covalent conjugation of ubiquitin to proteins regulates diverse cellular pathways and proteins. Ubiquitin is transferred to a target protein through a concerted action of a ubiquitin-activating enzyme (E1), a ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme (E2), such as UBE2T, and a ubiquitin ligase (E3). UBE2T catalyzes the covalent attachment of ubiquitin to protein substrates. Functionally, UBE2T accepts ubiquitin from the E1 complex and catalyzes its covalent attachment to other proteins, catalyzes monoubiquitination, is involved in mitomycin-C (MMC)-induced DNA repair, and catalyzES monoubiquitination of FANCD2, a key step in the DNA damage pathway. Defects in the UBE2T gene have been associated with Fanconi anemia of complementation group T.Specifications
