Mouse Monoclonal Antibody

MA5-15636 targets VCAM1 in indirect ELISA, IHC and WB applications and shows reactivity with Human samples. The MA5-15636 immunogen is purified recombinant fragment of human VCAM1 expressed in E. Coli. MA5-15636 detects VCAM1 which has a predicted molecular weight of approximately 81kDa.

VCAM-1 is a cell surface sialoglycoprotein expressed by cytokine activated endothelium. The protein has a number of functions including the regulation of leukocyte migration, leukocyte-endothelial cell adhesion and signal transduction and may play a role in a number of inflammatory diseases.
