Invitrogen™ VNN3 Polyclonal Antibody

Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Supplier: Invitrogen™ PA534459
Description
A suggested positive control is human brain tissue lysate. PA5-34459 can be used with blocking peptide PEP-1501.
The vanin family is a novel group of ectoenzymes that function in tissue repair and plays a role in oxidative-stress response. As both secreted and membrane proteins, the vanin family members have been implicated as therapeutic targets in inflammatory disease. VNN3 (vascular non-inflammatory molecule 3), also known as Vanin3, is a 501 amino acid GPI-anchored amidohydrolase that is widely expressed and is found at highest levels in blood and liver. Induced by Th17 / Th1 type cytokines, VNN3 converts pantetheine into pantothenic acid. Containing one CN hydrolase domain, VNN3 is encoded by a gene that maps to human chromosome 6q23.2.
