Invitrogen™ WNT2B Recombinant Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody (17H30L23)
Rabbit Recombinant Monoclonal Antibody
Supplier: Invitrogen™ 701856
Description
This antibody is predicted to react with Monkey, Pig and Rabbit. Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The expression systems are developed by cloning in the specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Then, individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production. The advantages of using recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies include: better specificity and sensitivity, lot-to-lot consistency, animal origin-free formulations, and broader immunoreactivity to diverse targets due to larger rabbit immune repertoire.
WNT2B is a member of the wingless-type MMTV integration site (WNT) family of highly conserved, secreted signaling factors. WNT family members function in a variety of developmental processes including regulation of cell growth and differentiation and are characterized by a WNT-core domain. It may play a role in human development as well as human carcinogenesis. Two alternatively spliced transcript variants exist.
