Description
Zinc nitrate hexahydrate is used as an analytical reagent, catalyst and as a mordant in dyeing. It finds application in electro galvanizing, rubber industry and in the water treatment industry. It is widely used as the precursor for the synthesis of zinc oxide. It is employed in the preparation of the steel phosphating agent. In the field of agriculture, it is used for nourishing and protecting fruit trees from acid rain.
