Description
Zinc telluride is a semiconductor material used in optoelectronics. It is used in blue LEDs, laser diodes, solar cells, components of microwave generators, electro-optic detector, holographic interferometry and laser optical phase conjugation devices. It is associated with lithium niobate and used for the generation of pulsed terahertz radiation in time-domain terahertz spectroscopy and terahertz imaging.
