ABT-737-d8 is the deuterium labeled ABT-737, a BH3 mimetic and a potent inhibitor of Bcl-2, Bcl-xL, and Bcl-w. It induces the disruption of the BCL-2/BAX complex and BAK-dependent, BIM-independent activation of the intrinsic apoptotic pathway, and also induces autophagy.
- Can be used as a tracer
- Can be used as an internal standard for quantitative analysis by NMR, GC-MS, or LC-MS
- Has potential for acute myeloid leukemia (AML) research
- Stable heavy isotopes are incorporated into drug molecules for quantitation during drug development
- Deuteration can affect the pharmacokinetic and metabolic profiles of drugs
- For research use only
