Lumogallion is a highly sensitive fluorescent reagent used for the detection of aluminum, gallium, and other metals. It has an excitation wavelength of 490 nm and an emission spectrum ranging from 520 nm to 650 nm, with a peak near 580 nm. It can be used for detecting aluminum levels in brain tissue of Alzheimer's patients, staining live cells with intracellular aluminum adjuvant, and detecting aluminum content in plant root tip cells.
