EMS hotplates, stirrers and hotplate-stirrers feature an exceptionally durable, chemical resistant, white ceramic work surface. Their space-efficient design (7 x 10.5" footprint), makes them ideal for use on crowded benchtops and inside bio-hoods.
Advanced microprocessor controls allow quick, precise adjustment of speed and temperature. The large, backlit LCD display provides constant visualization of the speed and temperature while a safety LED indicates when the top plate is above 50 degree C. In addition, an optional probe is available for applications that require precise temperature contol. When connected, the probe provides direct feedback to the microprocessor, which continuously adjusts and maintains the selected temperature in the sample within ± 0.5 degree C.

The Alkali Multi-Position Stirring Hotplates provide simultaneous heating and stirring of multiple samples. The large top-plates feature a durable, chemically resistant, white, ceramic coating that provides exceptionally uniform temperature control up to 120°C. Both mixing speed and temperature are conveniently controlled on the digital display, which also features a safety LED that warns the user when the top plate is hot and unsafe to touch. Three models are available, offering either 3, 5 or 10 position capacity. Each stirring position is driven by an independent motor, providing efficient mixing of sample sizes up to 1000ml. With increased spacing (100mm) between stirring positions, the top surface is designed to accept a wide range of vessel types, including beakers, Erlenmeyer flasks and media storage bottles.

Digital hote plate features a rugged low profile cast aluminum body provides stability and durability and a warning system that deters accidental contact with hot surface. The Remote probe allow for accurate reading of solution temperature to 0.1°C for temperature below 100°C. A user-adjustable over-temperature protection prevents runaway temperature conditions. Seamless reflective easy-to-clean, alkali/acid resistant white ceramic top.
