The I41LLH1 incubator is frequently used for mosquitos and other insects, low light algae growth, or low cost seed germination. IncuWhite LEDs are dimmable between 5-100% output with up to 100 µmoles/m2/s irradiance @ 6” from the LEDs. Interior / exterior of smooth white galvanized steel with foamed-in-place non-CFC insulation and a stainless-steel floor for corrosion resistance. A pan-type humidifier and standard humidity sensor provides additive humidity.Four white epoxy coated steel wire shelves adjustable in ½” increments. Self-contained air-cooled condensing unit with hot gas bypass system for continuous compressor operation extends life, ensuring precise temperature control by alternately cycling refrigerant and hot gas to coil; this also prolongs life of compressor, and eliminates risk of ice build up in coil. Bellco Roll-In Incubators have 40 cubic feet of volume and are designed for use with Bellco’s Cell Production Roller Apparatus (CPRA). The flush-to-floor design allows easy movement of the CPRA in and out of the chamber. Four internal convenience outlets allow simple connection to internally placed appliances such as CPRA, Roller Drums, Magnetic Stirrers, etc. Fans take air from the chamber top, pass it over the 1100 watt heater and re-inject it into the chamber on the bottom back wall. A microprocessor temperature controller and membrane keypad allows simple setting and monitoring of chamber temperature. A safety thermostat is included to prevent over-temperature failures. Candling monitors the development of the embryo within the egg allowing infertile eggs to be removed before they become infected and contaminate others. Egg candling also monitors the rate of enlargement of the airspace within the egg as a gauge of incubation humidity and for more detailed analysis of development such as vein growth. The Brinsea OvaView High Intensity egg candler is designed to be either hand-held or can be left on a work surface. Battery powered for convenience it uses very high output high efficiency LED illumination – so no bulbs to replace and no concerns about overheating the eggs during inspection. Supplied with both a flexible black ring for standard eggs plus a special ring for smaller eggs to seal against the eggshell. The larger power drain means that rechargeable batteries are needed – 4 AA batteries required but not supplied. Suitable for candling quail, pheasant and other dark or mottled eggs.
