This high performance thin layer chromatography (HPTLC) plate comprises a C18 Silica layer. The TLC plates contain UV254 fluorescent indicator. The surface has been 100% treated with an octadecyl silane so that it is a reversed phase material. This analytical hard layer is bound to a glass support. It has a thickness of 200um and dimensions of 10x10cm. There are 25 plates per pack. The layer has an outstanding hardness and is abrasion resistant due to an optimized binder system. The plate can be easily labeled with a lead pencil for clear identification. There is an increased separation efficiency due to an optimized particle size distribution.
