Product DescriptionCitrate buffer solution has a 1.0M concentration at a pH of 8.0. Citrate is used as an anticoagulant, a biological buffer, and is often prepared for antigen retrieval of tissue samples. The solution is designed to break protein cross-links, unmasking antigens and epitopes in formalin-fixed and paraffin embedded tissue sections, resulting in enhanced stain intensity of antibodies. Citrate has as a calcium chelator that forms complexes to disrupt the tendency of blood to clot.For laboratory use only. Not fit for agricultural, household, clinical use or human consumption.

You may use RayBiotech Protease Inhibitor Cocktail (AA-PI), RayBiotech Phosphatase Inhibitor Cocktail Set I (AA-PHI-I) or Phosphatase Inhibitor Cocktail Set II (AA-PHI-II), or the RayBiotech Phosphatase / Protease Inhibitor Set (AA-PIPHI). Alternatively, you can purchase inhibitor cocktails from another manufacturer and follow their specifications. For the first experiment, we recommend serial dilution testing, starting with a 5-fold dilution, to determine the optimal protein load for the assay. Optimal dilution depends on the abundance of target proteins and should be determined empirically.
