Abcam Coomassie Brilliant Blue R-250 Protein Stain, 25G
MW 825.99 g/mol. Triphenylmethane dye used in SDS-PAGE for the analysis of proteins. The dye molecule binds to proteins to form a protein-dye complex. This complex stabilizes the negatively charged anionic form of the dye producing the blue color, even under acidic conditions.

Biotium Hoechst 33258, 10mg/mL in H2O
Hoechst dyes are cell membrane-permeant, minor groove-binding blue fluorescent DNA stains. These dyes are widely used in cell cycle and apoptosis studies as nuclear counterstains. Hoechst 33528 is slightly more water soluble than Hoechst 33342. The dyes can be used to stain live or fixed cells in buffer or medium at 1 ug/mL, with no wash step required. Biotium PAGE GelRed Nucleic Acid Gel Stain, 10,000X in Water
PAGE GelRed is a non-toxic, non-mutagenic red DNA gel stain specifically designed to stain DNA in polyacrylamide gels. PAGE GelRed can be imaged using a 254 nm UV transilluminator with an ethidium bromide filter. While PAGE GelRed also can be used to stain DNA in agarose gels, Biotium’s original GelRed nucleic acid gel stain is more sensitive for agarose gel applications. PAGE GelRed can be removed from DNA after agarose gel staining using commonly available gel extraction kits. PAGE GelRed is 6-8 times more sensitive for dsDNA over RNA. The LAMP fluorescent dye is an intercalating dye that can be used to track a LAMP reaction in real-time by fluorescence measurement. It is provided at 50X concentration and is sufficient for at least 500 LAMP reactions (0.5 ul dye per 25 ul LAMP reaction). The SYBR/FAM channel of common real-time fluorimeters can be used to read the dye.
