IG C41(DE3)pLysS Electrocompetent Cells are designed for transformation and recombinant protein expression using IPTG-inducible T7 promoter vectors. Derived from BL21(DE3), these cells improve tolerance to toxic proteins, preventing cell death during expression. They contain a pLysS plasmid with T7 lysozyme, suppressing basal T7 RNA polymerase expression and stabilizing recombinants with highly toxic proteins. Its efficacy is validated in over 400 publications.
