Cole-Parmer Stuart Aquatron Water Still, 4 LPH, Double Distilled, 220 VAC, 50/60 Hz
The Aquatron cabinet-style water stills are available in single or double distilled water models. The double distilled model features higher purity levels. The stills are made of borosilicate glassware coupled with silica-sheathed heaters and then enclosed in a protective cabinet, delivering pyrogen-free distillate of the highest purity from virtually any raw water supply. Its condenser is designed to make sure droplets of distilled water remain in contact with the cooling coil for an extended period, ensuring maximum energy transfer and production of cold distilled water for immediate use. The all-glass construction allows for rapid descaling using strong mineral acids. The units can be safely and easily cleaned without dismantling the glassware. Also, a large bore stopcock with PTFE key is fitted for easy draining of chemicals, after cleaning. Its safety features include a flow sensor, overtemperature thermostat and acrylic screen, along with a cabinet lid and more.

This all-glass constructed water still with silica-sheathed heaters and high-efficiency condenser ensures top distillate purity at an economical price. Special control device automatically turns off the heater to prevent overflow of the reservoir vessel even if the still is left on when unattended. Two independent safety thermostats, mounted in the condenser and boiler, prevent overheating in the event the water supply is interrupted. Screw thread connections make it easy to change hoses quickly and safely without the risk of breaking any glassware. Built-in acid addition funnel and drain stopcock allow for easy descaling without dismantling the glassware. The benchtop still can also be wall mounted using the two predrilled screw holes in the stand.
