Microtubes
Single-use containers designed to hold microliter to milliliter quantities of liquid. Products may be sterile/non-sterile, come with or without a variety of caps (screw, tether, snap), and may be suitable for use in microcentrifuges.
High quality standard snap cap microtubes, or microcentrifuge tubes, are essential for the safe processing of low to medium sized sample volume applications in clinical chemistry, biochemistry and molecular biology. Ideal for protein research, mass spectrometry, protein array, sample preparation, microcentrifugation and sample storage, they are available in a variety of colours, including amber and black for light sensitive samples.
The snap cap provides a safe, liquid-tight seal and some flat top caps include a needle insertion spot. Some microtubes are also available with additional safety lock snap caps to minimise sample loss during the centrifugation process and to provide added security when working with samples that are radioactive or which pose a biohazard.

Available as sterile or non-sterile, polypropylene microtubes can also feature low binding properties to reduce protein and nucleic acid loss and hence better sample recovery.

Alkali Scientific Microcentrifuge Tube, 1.5mL, Clear, Conical, Lock Cap, Sterile, 500/pk, 5000/cs
USP VI grade PP material, free from heavy metal. RCF: 30000xg. Endotoxin: 0.1EU. They have clear graduations and frosted marking area, and a special cap design to insert needles. Easy opening and closing. They can withstand temperature ranges of -80℃ to +121℃. DNase, RNase, and pyrogen-free. Autoclave at 121℃/15 psi.
Grainger Burglar and Fire Safe 6.4 cu ft
The Mesa Safe Company Burglar and Fire Safe is a 6.4 cubic foot safe with a combination lock and 1 hour fire rating at 1700°F. It has adjustable shelves and a door storage organizer. The exterior dimensions are 59" H x 30" W x 25" D. The safe body is 12 gauge steel and the door is 4.5" thick composite. It can be bolted to the floor and has an electronic lock with illuminated keypad, silent mode, and user/master codes. This UL listed residential security safe protects documents from fire and theft.
