Microscope Accessories and Replacement Parts
General accessories and parts for use with microscopes. Products include lens oil, lens cleaner, slide dispensers, microscope covers, vessel holders, light cubes, and flow cells.
Many parts of your microscope can be updated or replaced including microscope lamps, lenses, and eyepieces. Replacement lamps, light sources, and power cords can extend the working lives of your microscopy equipment. New or replacement objectives and lenses can help increase the total magnification available with your microscope.
Add greater magnification or exchange your eyepiece for one with a reticule to more easily estimate the sizes of the items being viewed.
Replace or update your mechanical stage or clamps or add cell culture vessel adapters to facilitate specimen positioning.
Condensers can also be replaced, and conversion kits are available to add phase contrast, polarization, fluorescence, or other capabilities to your current system.
Some microscopes can be adapted for use with still or video cameras. Look for cameras and adapters designed for your specific microscope brand. Film and documentation-related products may also be available to support your record-keeping.
Temporary, semi-permanent, and more long-term slide storage options include:
- Slide racks that securely hold slides during staining procedures
- Folding fiberboard or plastic slide holders with horizontal indentations that keep microscope slides in place
- Slide storage boxes with vertical dividers; made from fiberboard, plastic, and wood and available in multiple sizes
- Slide holders and mailers for transporting slides safely
- Slide storage systems and cabinets for large quantities of slides or archival storage

1 L resin; 325 ml hardening liquid. Lowest shrinkage of cold mounting resins. Curing time is long, excellent adhesion to most materials. Used for vacuum impregnation. Hardened epoxy is duroplastic and not affected by moderate heat or chemicals.

A formvar coated grid, stabilized with evaporated carbon film. This type of coating is excellent for specimen support, especially for ultra thin sections. Coated grids are optically checked followed by batch testing in the electron microscope. Packed in grid storage box. NOTE: All film is laid on the shiny side of the grid. Formvar is 25 to 50 nm thick with a 3 to 4 nm carbon coating.

Electron Microscopy Sciences Microscope Graticule NE120 Horizontal, 21 mm, 20 mm with 100 divisions of 0.1 mm
These scales are used for the measuring of lengths of specimen or distances between points on a variety of different shaped objects. By dividing the division of the chosen graticule by the magnification of the objective one obtains an approximate value that each division will represent on the stage. Horizontal micrometer scale.

World Precision Instrument Fiber Optic Collimator-300051
WPI’s Fiber Optic Collimator can be used for both collimating a light beam emitted by an optical fiber or coupling light from a collimated light beam into an optical fiber. The numerical aperture of the collimator is optimized for maximum coupling efficiency into typical fused silica fibers. The collimator can, for example, be used to guide a parallel light beam through a sample cuvette or an optical filter with virtually no optical losses. In this application, one collimator collimates the light into a parallel beam 5 mm in diameter, enabling it to pass a long distance without losing the energy. After the light passes the sample media, a second collimator can be used to collect the beam into the receiving fiber. A unique design feature of this collimator is that the distance between the lens and the optical fiber can be easily adjusted.

The S18 Brightfield Stage Micrometer features graduated metric and English scales for the calibration of measurement instruments across a wide range of magnifications. This flexible graduated scale stage micrometer is suitable for low magnification, stereo inspection microscopes to higher magnification compound microscopes. It features dual scales of 25 mm or 1 inch and graduated divisons, fine for low magnification, mid for medium magnification, and large for high magnification. It has high definition, chrome on glass image. The scales are centered on all glass slide 76 mm x 25 mm x 1.5 mm thick.
