This double beam, scanning, UV/Visible spectrophotometer has a variety of programmed measurement modes for photometrics, concentration, multi-wavelength, spectrum scanning, kinetics, quantitation, DNA and protein analysis making it ideal for a number of applications. The stable optics and two detectors measure your samples and reference simultaneously providing superior measurement accuracy. The variable spectral bandwidth provides your experiments with robust detection and quantitation limits, as well as optimal data precision and repeatability. This flexible platform allows the user to comply with multiple regulatory agencies using one spectrophotometer- saving money and time. Three scan speeds are available with wavelength scan intervals of 0.1, 0.2, 1, 2 or 5 nm. The large sample chamber is outfitted with a 10 x 10 mm cuvette holder, but allows for an 8-position cuvette changer (sold separately).

"The color meter and spectrophotometer PCE-CSM 8 was developed for quality control, offers a high accuracy and comes with a 3.5"" touch screen display. When using the color meter, you can choose between different color spaces (CIE LAB, XYZ, Yxy, LCh, and LUV) and 45/0 optics angle. After a measurement with the color meter, the reading can be used as a named reference value while other readings can be recorded as a sample and later be compared to the reference value easily for Pass/Fail determination. In addition to the individual color space coordinates, the deviation between the reading (delta E) is also displayed. When using the color meter, it is possible to store up to 1000 reference values and up to 10,000 samples on the device. The measured data can also be transferred to a PC via the USB interface.
