The CoolCaddy Cold Station for PCR Plate, Tubes, and Cryovials keeps your reagents and samples cool, on the lab bench, without using crushed ice. Simply store your CoolCaddy overnight in any standard freezer and it’s ready to hold temperature between 2° and 4°C for up to 5 hours. 96 well block with horizontal gradient Easy, user-friendly programming Auto-adjusting heated lid Precision thermal control Ideal for both thermal cycling and protocol optimization, the MultiGene Gradient can be programmed to operate with uniform temperature across the block or with a horizontal gradient. Up to twelve temperatures can be evaluated at one time - each row of eight can have a different value. Programming is intuitive with a large LCD display and graphical representation of the program steps. The software allows for a variety of programming features, such as increased or decreased time during successive cycles, i.e. “touchdown” applications. The heated lid automatically adjusts to tube or plate height for oil free cycling with consumables. The lid can be programmed to hold different temperatures. The lid slides back and away, to provide full access to samples and reduce the risk of users coming into contact with the hot surface.
