This media will support the growth of aerobic & facultative bacteria if incubated appropriately. This media is prepared, stored, & dispensed under oxygen-free conditions to prevent the formation of oxidized products prior to use. BRU is also available in a 1-plate package or packaged w/ other media types in a single convenience pack.BRU agar is an enriched non-selective media that supports the growth of fastidious microorganisms. BRU agar contains casein, peptones, yeast extract, & dextrose.
