Leukapheresis is performed using the Spectra Optia Apheresis System. Mononucleated cell-rich blood is continuously collected using ACD-A as an anticoagulant. This product provides no less than 5 billion total nucleated cells (TNC). TNC in our leukapheresis products are composed of, on average, 50% T cells, 20% monocytes, 10% B cells, 7% NK cells, and 3% granulocytes. Actual product volume, TNC concentration, and cell type percentages vary from collection to collection.
HLA and CMV status are available upon request. All donors undergo an in-person screening including bloodborne pathogens testing, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, and HIV 1 and 2.
AllCells boasts the largest donor database in the industry. Our pool of healthy, diverse and recallable donors provides researchers with the right cells at the right time. AllCells donors undergo initial in-depth screening, followed by regular re-screening at three month intervals.
