The PrecisION hTRPV3 Recombinant Stable Cell Line is a stable, engineered cell line for use in studying TRPV3 ion channels, including drug candidates which affect channel function. This cell line enables assessment of ion channel function via detection of electrophysiological signals. The included cell line overexpresses TRPV3 ion channels. Upon ligand/agonist induced channel activation, response can be detected via automated or manual electrophysiological techniques. The Ready-to-Assay EP2 Prostanoid Receptor Frozen Cells are a simple, thaw-and-assay cell format for use in studying drug candidates (small molecules or biologics) targeting GPCRs. This assay assesses ligand (e.g. prostaglandin E2) based activation of PTGER2 GPCR activity via detection of increasing levels of intracellular calcium. The included cell line overexpresses PTGER2 alongside exogenous levels of a promiscuous G-protein, coupling the receptor to the calcium signaling pathway. Upon activation of PTGER2, the resulting calcium activity can be fluorescently assayed. Ready-to-assay kits consist of two vials of the stably modified clonal cell line in a convenient thaw-and-use format.
