This serum-free system supports cervical epithelial cells derived from a patient's cervical tissue. Cervical Epithelial Cell Basal Medium contains essential and non-essential amino acids, vitamins, other organic compounds, trace minerals, and inorganic salts. To support the proliferation and plating efficiency of various types of cervical epithelial cells, Cervical Cell Basal Medium must be supplemented with the appropriate cell-specific growth kit. When using this complete media system, the growth of cervical epithelial cells is supported without feeder layers, extracellular matrix proteins, or other substrates.

This kit assesses compound-based disruption of Bcl2-Bax binding via detection of Bax levels. This product uses EFC technology. The cell line included overexpresses Bcl2 target in an untagged form and Bax binding partner fused to ProLabel. When a compound engages the Bcl2 target protein, partner binding is disrupted and the destabilized Bax is degraded, leading to a loss of EFC signal upon addition of EA containing detection reagent.
