Cell Systems Corporation Human Primary Keratinocytes (ACBRI 2K0)
Primary Human Primary Keratinocytes (ACBRI 2K0) were isolated from dispase dissociated dermal tissue. Unlike cells from other providers, Cell Systems primary cells are isolated without positive control antibody labels. Each vial contains ~1 x 10^6 cells with 85-92% viability under ideal conditions. They are available at Passage 3 (<12 cumulative population doublings) and will initiate a Passage 4 cell culture in a 75 cm2 flask. Each vial of cells is shipped with Bac-Off (antibiotic) and CultureBoost (animal derived growth factors) at no additional cost. These cells require specialized low-calcium Keratinocyte media. UACC-3133 (ATCC CRL-2988) Human breast cancer cell line - infiltrating lobular carcinoma metastatic to pleural fluid
This human breast cancer cell line, UACC-3133 (CRL-2988), was derived from pleural fluid of a 52-year-old female with poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma consistent with infiltrating lobular carcinoma. The line exhibits epithelial morphology, adherent growth, and a distinct marker profile useful for breast cancer research.
- Epithelial-like cell morphology.
- Adherent growth suitable for monolayer and 3D culture.
- Neu (ErbB2/HER2) positive; low estrogen receptor expression.
- Progesterone receptor and EGFR negative.
- High BMP3 expression with lack of BMP2.
- Recommended medium: Leibovitz's L-15 with serum and supplements.
- Culture conditions: 37°C, 100% air; subculture 1:2; renew medium every 3-4 days.
- Mycoplasma not detected; store in vapor phase of liquid nitrogen.
