The PathHunter rCHRM4 eXpress kit provides an easy-to-use cell based assay to study drug candidates (small molecules or biologics) targeting GPCRs. This kit assesses ligand (e.g. acetylcholine) based activation of rCHRM4 GPCR activity via detection of β-arrestin recruitment. The included cell line overexpresses ProLink-tagged rCHRM4 and EA-tagged β-Arrestin-2. Activation of rCHRM4 stimulates the recruitment of β-Arrestin-2 and produces EFC signal. eXpress kits are a convenient, ready-to-use format which contains all materials needed to run the assay, including single-use vials of cryopreserved cells, cell plating media, detection reagent, and assay plates. Cayman’s Phagocytosis Assay Kit (IgG PE) employs latex beads coated with fluorescently-labeled rabbit IgG as a probe for the measurement of the phagocytic process in vitro. The engulfed fluorescent beads can be detected using a fluorescence microscope, allowing kinetic studies of phagocytosis at the single-cell level. In addition, the flow cytometric readout provides the advantage of visualizing perturbations in phagocytosis on the population level and, when combined with antibody staining, of specific cell types within complex populations. This kit provides enough Latex Beads-Rabbit IgG-PE Complex for up to 750 samples.

This kit assesses RTK activation via detection of activated c-Ret and GFRα2 dimerization-induced SH2 domain protein recruitment. This product uses EFC technology. The included cell line overexpresses ProLink-tagged c-Ret and an EA-tagged SH2 domain protein. It also overexpresses an untagged coreceptor, GFRα2 Upon ligand-induced receptor activation, SH2-EA recruitment leads to production of EFC signal. eXpress kits are a convenient, ready-to-use format which contains all materials needed to run the assay, including single-use vials of cryopreserved cells, cell plating media, detection reagent, and assay plates.
