Bioworld BCIP, 1 g
BCIP Also known as 5-Bromo-4-Chloro-3-Indolyl Phosphate. A widely used chromogenic substrate for alkaline phosphatase in enzyme-linked assay systems. BCIP may be used alone, or may act in a coupled reaction with NBT. Upon cleavage of the phosphate group from the molecule, BCIP forms a bright blue, insoluble product. This product then reacts to form a chromogen homodimer. This reaction may be used to amplify the signal by catalyzing the reduction of a tetrazolium salt (usually NBT) to form an intenselycolored, insoluble formazan chromogen. D-Luciferin (potassium salt) a potassium salt derivative of D-luciferin serves as the bioluminescent substrate for firefly luciferase The enzyme-mediated oxidation of D-luciferin in the presence of ATP and oxygen produces bioluminescent emission at approximately 560 nm without the need for external excitation This property is applied extensively in bioluminescence imaging (BLI) experiments including live-cell and small-animal imaging Cells genetically engineered to express luciferase utilize D-luciferin to generate optical signals facilitating non-invasive visualization and tracking of biological events such as tumor growth gene expression dynamics in vivo distribution and therapeutic responses

Biotium Coelenterazine FCP
Coelenterazine fcp is a synthetic derivative of coelenterazine. The luminescence intensity of its aequorin complex is 135 times higher than that of aequorin formed from native coelenterazine. Coelenterazines are luminescent enzyme substrates for apoaequorin and Renilla luciferase. Apoaequorin is used as a calcium indicator. It binds coelenterazine to form an aequorin complex that emits light upon calcium binding and measures concentrations ~0.1 uM to >100 uM. Renilla luciferase is widely used as a reporter of transcription regulation and as a donor in bioluminescence resonance energy transfer (BRET) to study protein-protein interactions. Coelenterazines are also used for chemiluminescent detection of superoxide anions and peroxynitrite in cells or tissues. Coelentrazine analogs and water-soluble Aquaphile™ Coelenterazines are also available.Properties : Yellow solid soluble in MeOH or EtOH; Store at -20°C, protect from light; C25H24FN3O2; MW: 417.48.

Biotium Coelenterazine (ALSO KNOWN AS NATIVE COE
Coelenterazines are luminescent enzyme substrates for apoaequorin and Renilla luciferase. Apoaequorin is used as a calcium indicator whereas Renilla luciferase is commonly used as a reporter of transcription regulation. Coelenterazine binds apoaequorin to form an aequorin complex which emits light upon calcium binding, and can measure a broad range of calcium concentrations from ~0.1 uM to >100 uM. Renilla luciferase is widely used as a reporter protein and as a donor in bioluminescence resonance energy transfer (BRET) to study protein-protein interactions. Coelenterazines can also be used for chemiluminescent detection of superoxide anion and peroxynitrite in cells or tissues.Coelenterazine (native): Yellow solid soluble in MeOH or EtOH; Store at -20°C and protect from light; C26H21N3O3; MW: 423; [55779-48-1]. See also other Coelentrazine analogs and water-soluble Aquaphile™ Coelenterazines (native and analog h) for in vivo use.
