Dexmedetomidine HCL is indicated for use as a sedative and analgesic in dogs and cats to facilitate clinical examinations, clinical procedures, minor surgical procedures, and minor dental procedures. Dexmedetomidine HCL is also indicated for use as a pre-anesthetic to general anesthesia in dogs and cats.

Vials are made from 33 expansion borosilicate glass which conforms to ASTM E-438 Type 1-Class A, USP Type 1 and ISO 3585. The high resistance to thermal shock along with its maximum chemical resistance makes this the glass of choice for vials along with most all laboratory glassware. For storage applications, these vials are packaged in a SBS coated white tray complete with SBS partition. Boxes are marked with alpha-numeric coordinates for fast and easy vial identifi cation. Caps are supplied installed on the vials.
