The seal with the viton septa is resistant to many aggressive solvents. The 11mm magnetic seal can be used with any instrument where the vials is transported with the use of a magnet.

The closures are preassembled with a variety of septa.Magnetic Screw Caps with Pre-Cut Star Septa:Preassembled closures include pre-cut septa where only the carrier is cut through in a Y- form, leaving the PTFE lamination in tact. The unhurt PTFE lamination gives 100% protection to the sample while leaving a 0.05mm thick PTFE portion remaining for needle penetration. The Y-form in the pre-cut silicone allows for a better flow of air during sample pick up in order to avoid a vacuum in the vial. Designed for use with any autosampler using a magnet to transport the vial from station to station.
