Poly Crimp Seal, 11mm, Clear Cap, PTFE/Silicone/PTFE Septum. A crimp cap constructed of plastic that fits virtually any 11mm crimp sample vial. Use a standard crimping tool to securely crimp the Poly Crimp seal onto any crimp top vial. The Poly Crimp seal also permits an airtight seal by hand without crimping. Although the Poly Crimp seal can work with any crimp top vial, the tighter manufacturing tolerances and quality assurance program with the vials supplied by Chemglass certifies better performance when the cap is used with Chemglass supplied vials. These unique Screw Caps can be used for almost any sample but are designed for Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) testing in our Autosampler Vials. Use with AQ™ Brand or RSA™ brand 9mm screw thread autosampler vials for best performance and sealing.

Aluminum Seal, 11mm, Red, PTFE/Natural Red Rubber. The 11mm anodized aluminum seals are manufactured to fit all 11mm crimp top vials and are available in a variety of colors. Medium durometer red rubber with a .015 layer of clear PTFE. Great and economical for routine analysis. Not recommended for multiple injections. Soft polyethylene caps are more pliable than other Snap Caps and are easier to place on the vial. Popular choice when using a large number of caps at one time. These caps may not seal as well as other Snap Caps and should be used with sample solvents with low volatility. Y Shape Pre-Slit provides a greater target area for needles and are easier to penetrate. The 1.0mm Septa is thicker than most and offers improved sealing compared with other similar Septa. Pre-Slit Septa are normally recommended for Waters Alliance and Acquity instruments.
