Soft polyethylene caps are more pliable than other Snap Caps and are easier to place on the vial. Popular choice when using a large number of caps at one time. These caps may not seal as well as other Snap Caps and should be used with sample solvents with low volatility. Y Shape Pre-Slit provides a greater target area for needles and are easier to penetrate and the 1.0mm Septa is thicker than most and offers improved sealing compared with other Pre-Slit Septa. Pre-Slit Septa are normally recommended for Waters Alliance and Acquity instruments.

Poly Crimp Seal, 11mm, Red Cap, Starburst Septum. A crimp cap constructed of plastic that fits virtually any 11mm crimp sample vial. Use a standard crimping tool to securely crimp the Poly Crimp seal onto any crimp top vial. The Poly Crimp seal also permits an airtight seal by hand without crimping. Although the Poly Crimp seal can work with any crimp top vial, the tighter manufacturing tolerances and quality assurance program with the vials supplied by Chemglass certifies better performance when the cap is used with Chemglass supplied vials.
