First hydrolytic, Class A, pharmaceutical grade, Borosilicate Glass, amberized. Amber vials are often used for light sensitive compounds and considered low actinic. Use with 8mm aluminum crimp caps, 8mm or 9mm push caps. These conical vials have serum finish tops that provide the best seal for chromatography, when used properly with correct aluminum crimp caps. These MicroVials have a conical outer shape and often need a holder / adapter to be used in an autosampler and will not stand by themselves.
Grainger Crimp Fitting 3/4 I.D. 3/4 M BSPT
The Aeroquip 16P890 hydraulic crimp fitting is made of steel and has a 1/4" NPT male inlet and a #6 SAE female outlet. It is designed for use in hydraulic systems with operating pressures up to 5000 psi. The fitting body is zinc plated for corrosion resistance. It can be used to adapt NPT threaded ports to allow connection of #6 SAE hydraulic hose. This fitting requires proper crimping to SAE specifications for secure hose retention.

Features a 15ul residual volume for most autosamplers due to the center draining, inner V shape. Use with 11mm aluminum crimp caps. These lower cost center draining vials have serum finish tops that provide the best seal for chromatography, when used properly with correct aluminum crimp caps.
