Poly Crimp Seal, 11mm, Blue Cap, PTFE/Silicone/PTFE Septum. A crimp cap constructed of plastic that fits virtually any 11mm crimp sample vial. Use a standard crimping tool to securely crimp the Poly Crimp seal onto any crimp top vial. The Poly Crimp seal also permits an airtight seal by hand without crimping. Although the Poly Crimp seal can work with any crimp top vial, the tighter manufacturing tolerances and quality assurance program with the vials supplied by Chemglass certifies better performance when the cap is used with Chemglass supplied vials. First hydrolytic, Class A, Type-33 Borosilicate Glass. The MRQ Vials have a fill volume of 1.2ml and a very low residual volume of 2ul due to the center-draining effects of smooth walls (no ledges) and a conical bottom with a well that is slightly larger than autosampler vial needles. Side entry port needles will recover the maximum amount during use. Bottom depths of the wells are designed and QC controlled for the most critical autosampler to prevent needles hitting the bottom of the vials.
